The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) and the host WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA), saw Wapello's volleyball squad beat WACO by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Wapello upgrades its record to 17-12 on the year. The Indians host Pekin (Packwood, IA) to play the Panthers in a SEI - North bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Pekin lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Highland (Riverside, IA)

The Warriors now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Winfield-Mt. Union for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3. WACO will play a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 15-12.
