In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Wilmot Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes.
The Wolves (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Langford (Langford, SD). The Lions come into the B Region 1 battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Langford achieved victory over Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Coyotes clash with the Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD) in a A Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Waverly/South Shore will attempt to advance on its 4-15 season record. The come into the battle with a 18-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over DeSmet (DeSmet, SD).
