The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) and the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), saw West Potomac's volleyball squad nip West Springfield by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, West Potomac upgrades its record to 5-4 on the year. The Wolverines travel to South County (Lorton, VA) to play the Stallions in a Patriot bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

The Spartans now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Fairfax for a Patriot bout on Tuesday, October 3. West Springfield will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Lions record now stands at 5-3.
