In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host California Grizzlies volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Carondelet Cougars.

The Grizzlies (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Dons come into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Amador Valley lost by Granada (Livermore, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Carondelet will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Freedom (Oakley, CA).
