The Kankakee Kays felled the visiting Belleville West Maroons flag football team by a score of 14-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Kays play the Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Kankakee will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Manual (Peoria, IL).

The Maroons (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Lancers go into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Belleville East toppled Peoria (Peoria, IL), 7-0, in a non-league challenge.
