The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) and the visiting Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), witnessed Hampshire's flag football squad knock off Elgin by a tally of 18-6.

The Whip-Purs (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Hononegah gained a win over Freeport (Freeport, IL), 18-16, in a league contest.
