The La Cueva Bears soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Eldorado Golden Eagles to 0 in the Bears league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Capital for a 5A District 2 bout on Wednesday, October 2. La Cueva will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Eldorado moves to 7-3 on the year. The Golden eagles host Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Demons in a 5A District 2 bout on Wednesday, October 2. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Santa Fe won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM)
