Connecticut High School Soccer - Plainfield knocks off St. Bernard

Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) and the host St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT), saw Plainfield's soccer squad knock off St. Bernard by a count of 4-1.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen enter the non-league battle with a 1-4 record.
Next up, the Saints battle the Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut III battle, on Monday, September 30. St. Bernard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Killingly (Killingly, CT).
