In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Breese Central Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Althoff Catholic Crusaders.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Shells come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Roxana lost by Wesclin (Trenton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Althoff Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL).
