Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Point Loma improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pointers travel to Christian (El Cajon, CA) to face the Patriots in a test on Tuesday, October 1. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 8-16. Christian lost 2-0 in their recent league test against La Jolla (La Jolla, CA)

The Ravens now own a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Carmel for a test on Tuesday, October 1. Canyon Crest Academy will face a Sundevils squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA). The Sundevils record now stands at 3-3.
