The Keene Central Beavers (Keene Valley, NY) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY), 6-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Beavers now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Wells for a challenge on Monday, September 30. Keene Central will encounter a Wells CSD squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Schroon Lake (Schroon Lake, NY). The Wells CSD record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Boquet Valley moves to 3-4 on the year. The Griffins travel to Chazy (Chazy, NY) to encounter the Eagles in a Northern challenge on Wednesday, October 2. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Chazy won 5-1 in their recent league challenge against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY)
