Maine High School Soccer - Morse knocks off Leavitt

In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Morse Shipbuilders soccer squad scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Leavitt Hornets.
The Shipbuilders (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers go into the Class B - South outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Lake Region by Greely (Cumberland Center, ME), 6-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Hornets play the Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, October 1. Leavitt will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME).
