In Saturday's non-league match, the host Bevier Wildcats softball team scored a nice 25-2 victory over the Linn County Mustangs.

The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their match against Meadville (Meadville, MO). The Eagles go into the Class 1 District 11 match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, Meadville gained a win over Grundy County (Galt, MO), 10-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Brunswick Wildcats (Brunswick, MO) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 30. Linn County will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 4-7 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Higbee (Higbee, MO).
