Missouri High School Softball - Father Tolton edges Southern Boone

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Father Tolton softball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Southern Boone Eagles.

The (15-8) will now prepare for their match against Boonville (Boonville, MO). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 7-15 record. In their last match, Boonville by Marshall (Marshall, MO), 3-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Capital City Cavaliers (Jefferson City, MO) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 1. Southern Boone will attempt to better on its 19-8 season record. The Cavaliers go into the match with a 8-12 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Camdenton (Camdenton, MO).
