Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE), 17-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lincoln High upgrades its record to 3-16 on the year. The Links travel to Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE) to play the Rockets in a A District game on Monday, September 30. The Rockets enter the game with a record of 7-15. Lincoln Northeast lost 9-0 in their recent non-league game against Marian (Omaha, NE)

The Vikings now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Douglas County West for a non-league game on Monday, September 30. Omaha North will play a Falcon squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Cass (Louisville, NE). The Falcon record now stands at 17-6.
