The Novinger Wildcats softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Linn County Mustangs to 4 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westran for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28. Novinger will confront a Hornets team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Knox County (Edina, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Linn County moves to 0-13 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, MO) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Monday, September 30.
