The Paris Coyotes softball team scored 2 runs and held the host North Shelby Raiders to 1 in the Coyotes non-league win on Saturday.

The Coyotes now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. Paris will confront a Panthers team coming off a 22-6 non-league loss to Community (Laddonia, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, North Shelby moves to 10-6 on the season. The Raiders host Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO) to confront the Rams in a Class 1 District 10 battle on Monday, September 30. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 4-9. Schuyler County lost 17-0 in their recent non-league battle against Paris (Paris, MO)
