The Albany Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Roscoe Plowboys to 0 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 12-16 record. They play next when they travel to Hawley for a 2A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, October 1. Albany will play a Bearcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 19-10.

With the loss, Roscoe drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Plowboys host Colorado (Colorado City, TX) to play the Wolves in a 2A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, October 1. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 5-14. Colorado lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Forsan (Forsan, TX)
