Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) and the host Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL), observed Antioch's volleyball team top Zion-Benton by a tally of 2-0.

The Sequoits (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Eagles enter the Northern Lake County contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Lakes beat North Chicago (North Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Zee-Bees meet the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) in a North Suburban contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Zion-Benton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 10-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).
