The Venice Gondoliers volleyball squad (Los Angeles, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Crescenta Valley Falcons (La Crescenta, CA)

With the win, Crescenta Valley improves its record to 29-6 on the season. The Falcons host Burbank (Burbank, CA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Pacific battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 8-22. Burbank lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Glendale (Glendale, CA)

The Gondoliers now own a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westchester for a Western battle on Monday, September 30. Venice will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA). The Comets record now stands at 5-7.
