Arizona High School Volleyball - Mica Mountain over Saguaro

The Mica Mountain Thunderbolts volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Saguaro Sabercats to 0 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thunderbolts now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Casa Grande for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 1. Mica Mountain will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 6-15.

With the loss, Saguaro drops to 7-13 on the campaign. The Sabercats host Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Wildcats in a 4A - Desert Sky outing on Monday, September 30. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 14-3. Mesquite won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)
