South Dakota High School Volleyball - Mt. Vernon/Plankinton over Wagner

The Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Wagner Red Raiders to 0 in the Titans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Titans now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Parker for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will play a Pheasants team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Baltic (Baltic, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Wagner drops to 9-7 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Hanson (Alexandria, SD) to play the Beavers in a A Region 5 outing on Tuesday, October 1. The Beavers come into the outing with a record of 11-6. Hanson won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Canistota (Canistota, SD)
