Illinois High School Volleyball - Normal Community over Normal West

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Normal Community Ironmen volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Normal West Wildcats.

The Ironmen (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last challenge, Normal University beat Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) in a Big Twelve challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Normal West will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record. The Purple Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 2-1 league win over Danville (Danville, IL).
