Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Sunday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights (College Place, WA), 3-1 in a league test.

The Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mabton (Mabton, WA). The Vikings go into the East Cascade outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Mabton by St. George's (Spokane, WA), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Knights confront the Prescott Tigers (Prescott, WA) in a East Cascade outing, on Thursday, October 2. Walla Walla Valley Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 0-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Irrigon (Irrigon, OR).
