The Morrow Mustangs football squad scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Alcovy Tigers to 29 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonesboro for a AAAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, October 7. Morrow will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-3.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 battle, on Friday, October 7. Alcovy will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 34-7 league loss to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA).
