The Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) football routed the host Austin Maroons (Austin, TX), 51-14 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 bout, on Thursday, October 13. Bowie will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record.

The Maroons (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Johnson (Buda, TX). The Jaguars enter the 6A Region IV District 26 bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Johnson was crushed by Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX), 35-0, in a league bout.
