In Thursday's league game, the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) football team knocked off the host Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC), by a final score of 31-13.
The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC). The Mustangs come into the 4A West Conference 56 game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Parkland was dropped by R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 39-6, in a league game.
The Spartans now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davie for a 4A West Conference 56 game on Friday, October 7. Mount Tabor will battle a War Eagles team coming off a 41-21 league loss to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
