The North Buncombe Black Hawks football team (Weaverville, NC), was beaten 39-28 in Thursday's league challenge with the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC)
The Titans (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets come into the 3A/4A West Conference 53 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Enka was beaten by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 46-7, in a league challenge.
