North Carolina High School Football - Triton topples Westover

September 29, 2022: Fayetteville, NC 28303

The Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) football defeated the host Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 33-20 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a 3A/4A East Conference 23 bout, on Friday, October 7. Triton will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 40-0 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).

The Wolverines (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Jaguars enter the 3A/4A East Conference 23 bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Overhills defeated Western Harnett (Lillington, NC), 40-0, in a league bout.
