New Mexico High School Volleyball - Aztec can't hold off Grants

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Grants Pirates volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Aztec Tigers.
The Pirates (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Valencia nudged Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Aztec will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM).
