Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines face the Liberty Patriots (Issaquah, WA) in a 3A KingCo challenge, on Wednesday, October 5. Bellevue will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 5-0 league win over Interlake (Bellevue, WA).

The Islanders now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a 3A KingCo challenge on Friday, October 14.
