Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Sundevils face the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 1. Sandia Prep will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM).

The Timberwolves now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Navajo Prep for a A/3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, October 4. East Mountain will face a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
