The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) and the visiting Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), saw Albemarle School's volleyball squad beat Ridgecroft by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Albemarle School upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Colts host Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, October 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Southampton Academy won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA)

The Rams now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lawrence Academy for a bout on Tuesday, October 4.
