The Liberty Minutemen volleyball team (Bedford, VA), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA)

The Lancers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson Forest defeated Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Minutemen encounter the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Liberty will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Heritage (Lynchburg, VA).
