Next, the Lions confront the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 3. Carterville will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Orphans enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 1-1 non-league Altamont (Altamont, IL).

The Panthers now have a 2-15 record. They take the field next when they host Freeburg for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 3. Pinckneyville will confront a Midgets team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL). The Midgets record now stands at 10-3.
