Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators confront the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) in a Section 9 Division III challenge, on Saturday, October 1. Goshen Central will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 1-1 league Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY).

The Warriors now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host O'Neill for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 1.
