In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the South Iredell Vikings.
The Wildcats (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the Greater Metro 4A battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Mooresville nipped A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Vikings (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers go into the Greater Metro 4A battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Cox Mill was overwhelmed by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
