The North Providence Cougars soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Mt. Pleasant Kilties to 0 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders go into the Division 3 battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Prout nipped Middletown (Middletown, RI), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Kilties (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties go into the Division 3 battle with a 5-1 record.
