Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA), 20-3 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ola for a 5A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Locust Grove will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Dutchtown falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Luella (Luella, GA) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 3. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. Luella lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Lovett (Atlanta, GA)
