In Thursday's league contest, the Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) softball team overwhelmed the host Mitchell Marauders (Colorado Springs, CO), by a margin of 17-0.
With the triumph, Elizabeth moves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Cardinals travel to The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Titans in a 4A/3A CSML North contest on Tuesday, October 4. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 3-15.
In their next game, the Marauders play the Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 30. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 19-1 league loss to Evergreen (Evergreen, CO).
