In Thursday's league outing, the host Grayson Rams softball squad scored a tight 14-10 win over the Newton Rams.

The Rams now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 30. Grayson will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Newton falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Rams host Parkview (Lilburn, GA) to battle the Panthers in a 7A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, October 4. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 16-9. Parkview lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Creekview (Canton, GA)
