The Louisa County Lions volleyball team (Mineral, VA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA)

The Patriots (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA). The Panthers come into the Commonwealth challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Massaponax defeated Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 3. Louisa County will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
