In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Crest Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ashbrook Greenwave.

The Chargers (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm come into the Big South 3A battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Stuart W. Cramer lost by South Point (Belmont, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Greenwave clash with the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Ashbrook will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record.
