The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats (Franklin, TN) and the host Providence Christian Academy LIONS (Murfreesboro, TN), saw Battle Ground Academy's volleyball squad beat Providence Christian Academy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Battle Ground Academy upgrades its record to 30-4 on the year. The Wildcats host Nashville Christian (Nashville, TN) to play the Eagles in a D II-A Middle 4 bout on Monday, October 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-5.

The LIONS now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Academy of Knoxville for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 29. Providence Christian Academy will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 8-8.
