Alabama High School Volleyball - Oak Mountain routed by Chelsea

The Oak Mountain Eagles volleyball team (Birmingham, AL), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL)

The Hornets (26-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Patriots enter the 6A Area 9 challenge with a 6-17 record. In their last challenge, Homewood was dropped by Thompson (Alabaster, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 3. Oak Mountain will attempt to move on its 12-14 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 21-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Pell City (Pell City, AL).
