The New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners volleyball team (Santa Fe, NM), went down 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM)

The Leopards (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Saints come into the 1A District 7 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Chesterton Academy defeated Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Roadrunners encounter the Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM) in a 1A District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. New Mexico School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Silverbacks come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
