South Dakota High School Volleyball - Sturgis Brown Douglas

The Douglas Patriots topped the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Patriots now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belle Fourche for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6.

The Scoopers (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD). The Spartans enter the AA District 1 test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Spearfish gained a win over More (Rapid City, SD), 3-1, in a non-league test.
