Ohio High School Volleyball - Elgin over Ridgemont

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) and the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), saw Elgin's volleyball squad beat Ridgemont by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Elgin upgrades its record to 7-9 on the year. The Comets host Ridgedale (Morral, OH) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Ridgedale won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH)

The Golden Gophers now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Riverdale for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. Ridgemont will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Vanlue (Vanlue, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 2-12.
