South Carolina High School Volleyball - Emerald can't hold off Woodruff

September 29, 2022: Greenwood, SC 29646

In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Woodruff Wolverines volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Emerald Vikings.

The Wolverines (8-16) will now prepare for their battle against Clinton (Clinton, SC). The Red Devils come into the AAA Region 4 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Clinton was edged by Laurens (Laurens, SC), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC) in a AAA Region 4 battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Emerald will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Cyclones come into the battle with a 4-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Union County (Union, SC).
