In Thursday's non-league contest, the Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT) volleyball squad knocked off the host Gilbert Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Gladiators battle the Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 30. Goodwin Tech will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Beavers come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT).
With the loss, Gilbert drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Housatonic (Falls Village, CT) to battle the Mountaineers in a Berkshire contest on Friday, September 30. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
